LU Cloud and SillyHost
These services sell different things. SillyHost hosts a SillyTavern instance; LU Cloud provides hosted inference through its apps and API. Instance hosting and inference usage are not interchangeable purchases.

| Question | SillyHost | LU Cloud |
|---|---|---|
| What the payment covers | Wanderer is listed at USD 9/month for one hosted SillyTavern instance with 1 GB RAM and 1 CPU. Adventurer lists 2 GB RAM and 2 CPU, with USD 19/month marked as a limited-time welcome-back offer alongside USD 29/month. Confirm eligibility and renewal pricing before buying.: SillyHost hosting plans | Credit packs start at EUR 15 for 450,000 credits without a subscription. These pay for inference usage, not a hosted SillyTavern instance. Review the calculator for your workload.: LU packs and calculator |
| Inference access | Adventurer explicitly includes USD 5/month of OpenRouter credit. SillyHost also supports bringing your own provider keys. The hosting fee is not an unlimited inference allowance, and included provider credit is not the same as the full subscription price.: SillyHost credit and key options | Flash app sessions have a 500,000 combined input/output token allowance per account per day. Reservations that cannot fit follow the visible credit path. API keys use credits, including for Flash models; the Flash allowance on an active paid plan does not apply to API keys.: LU allowance and API billing |
| Trial and capacity | The advertised no-card trial provides a hosted instance with 2 GB RAM and 2 vCPUs for two hours. Those are instance resources, not model VRAM, context size or a recurring inference quota.: SillyHost trial details | The Flash app-session path on an active paid plan admits one request at a time per account. Paid request limits and model capabilities are published separately. Full native context for every model is not promised.: LU request limits and model capabilities |
Choose the service your workflow needs
Start with whether you need a managed frontend instance, inference access, or both. Check provider limits and billing separately from hosting. This page does not establish interoperability between the services, measure performance or rank token prices.
Read LU's cloud capabilities and restrictions before buying. Hosted requests leave your machine, and image and video generation have content restrictions. Local inference depends on your hardware and backend.
