The rules for this website and for the free Locally Uncensored desktop app. The app is open source under the AGPL. The paid cloud service is sold at lu-labs.ai under its own terms.

What these terms cover
These terms cover locallyuncensored.com and the Locally Uncensored desktop app for Windows, Linux and macOS. David Drobnitza publishes both; the legal details are in the Impressum. Nothing is sold on this website and you need no account to read it or to use the app locally.
The app's licence
The app is free software under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 (AGPL-3.0-only). You may use it, read its source, change it and pass it on under the conditions of that licence. The source code and the full licence text are on GitHub.
The licence, and not this page, defines your rights to the software. As sections 15 and 16 of the licence state, the app comes without warranty and without liability to the extent the law permits. Rights you have under mandatory consumer law are not affected.
Models and other software
The app downloads and runs models and tools that other people publish, such as language models, image and video models, and engines like Ollama or ComfyUI. Each of them has its own licence, and some models do not allow commercial use. The AGPL covers the app only. Read the licence of a model before you rely on what it produces, especially for paid work.
What you make with it
You decide what you type and what you generate, and you are responsible for it. Use the app within the law where you live, and respect other people's rights when you publish or share a result.
The app refuses sexual content involving minors on every backend, and there is no setting that turns this off.
LU Cloud
LU Cloud is the optional hosted service at lu-labs.ai. Plans and credit packs are bought there, with an LU Labs account, under the LU Labs terms of service and the LU Labs privacy policy. You must be at least 18 years old to create an LU Labs account or use LU Cloud. This website describes the service and links to it. If a price or a limit here differs from the one at lu-labs.ai, the one shown at checkout applies.
If you add another provider to the app with your own API key, your use of that provider is governed by its terms and billed by it.
This website
The guides, comparisons and blog posts are written with care and may be out of date by the time you read them. Comparisons with other products state the day they were checked. Product names of other companies belong to their owners and are used here only to describe those products.
