Uncensored AI image generator online
LU Labs runs an uncensored AI image generator online: seven hosted image models with no built-in content restriction, and all seven render uncensored work once your account's content policy is moved off its default. They are billed in credits that start at a 15 EUR pack with no subscription. That pack is 450,000 credits, which buys 450 images on the 1,000 credit models or 300 on the 1,500 credit ones. One line never moves whatever the setting says: material involving minors is refused on every request, and so is a photograph of a real person uploaded without their consent.
We build Locally Uncensored, the free open source AI studio that renders on your own card. Plenty of people who find it have no card worth rendering on, and a phone has none at all. The hosted side at LU Labs is the same team on rented GPUs. If you would rather keep everything on your disk, the local app is still free. What uncensored AI means in each place, and where the word stops being accurate, is set out on its own page.

The seven image models, all of them uncensored
Seven image models open in every plan and in every credit pack, and once the account content policy is moved off its default all seven render uncensored work. Three carry Uncensored in the name and four do not, which says nothing about what they will render: the catalog marks a model open in a field rather than in its name. The plan columns are the maximum successful images if the whole monthly wallet goes to that one model, so they are alternatives rather than seven separate allowances. Chat, images and video share the wallet.
| Model | Credits per image | Hosted | Pro | Max |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chroma Uncensored | 1,500 | 600 | 1,566 | 3,333 |
| Prefect Pony XL Uncensored | 1,500 | 600 | 1,566 | 3,333 |
| Neta Lumina Uncensored (anime) | 1,000 | 900 | 2,350 | 5,000 |
| Z-Image Base | 1,000 | 900 | 2,350 | 5,000 |
| Nucleus | 1,000 | 900 | 2,350 | 5,000 |
| JibMix Qwen | 2,000 | 450 | 1,175 | 2,500 |
| Wan 2.2 Realism | 2,500 | 360 | 940 | 2,000 |
What separates them is style and price rather than what they will render. Chroma Uncensored and Prefect Pony XL Uncensored are the general purpose ones, Neta Lumina Uncensored is the anime model at 1,000 credits, Z-Image Base and Nucleus are the other 1,000 credit options, JibMix Qwen sits at 2,000, and Wan 2.2 Realism is the photographic one at 2,500. Editing, upscaling and character training are separate Create Studio endpoints with their own prices, listed on the pricing page. Video is a different lane, and every uncensored video endpoint there takes an input image instead of a text prompt, which is covered on the video page.
How the content policy setting works
Uncensored output on images and video depends on one setting in your account, not on which model sits in the picker. Settings, General, Content policy has three options. Strict is the tightest, meant for a screen other people can see. Standard is the default on every account and refuses some prompts. The third is Off, which keeps only the two legal limits printed underneath it.
The line above the options reads: "Applies to images and video rendered in the cloud. Text is unaffected, and nothing on your own machine is." Hosted text is a different product with different rules, described on the chat page.
Two limits hold at every setting, and the app repeats them under all three options: material involving minors, and photographs of real people uploaded without their consent, are refused on every request whatever this is set to, and reported. We cannot verify consent for you, so that part is yours. The Terms of Service apply to everything rendered on the hosted side.
The exact wording of each option is in the handbook chapter on LU Cloud.
How to start
- Create an account at lu-labs.ai with an email and password, or a Google or GitHub login.
- Buy a credit pack or a Hosted plan. Any pack is available from the first purchase and pack credits do not expire.
- Open Create in the browser. Nothing to install, so this works on a Mac and on a phone.
- Pick a model. Any of the seven will render uncensored work, so choose on style and price: Neta Lumina Uncensored for anime, Chroma Uncensored or Prefect Pony XL Uncensored for general prompts, Wan 2.2 Realism when you want a photograph.
- Set Settings, General, Content policy. It starts on Standard, so some prompts are refused until you move it yourself.
- Write the prompt and render. The studio shows what the run costs on the model chip before you press Start.
On Windows or Linux there is a second route: install the free desktop app and flip the Cloud switch next to the model picker. One click asks "Switch to Cloud?", a second within six seconds moves the whole app across, and the composer then carries a Cloud chip. Same account, same wallet.
What it costs
| Option | Credits | Images at 1,000 credits | Images at 1,500 credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 EUR pack | 450,000 | 450 | 300 |
| 35 EUR pack | 1,100,000 | 1,100 | 733 |
| 75 EUR pack | 2,400,000 | 2,400 | 1,600 |
| 125 EUR pack | 4,050,000 | 4,050 | 2,700 |
| 300 EUR pack | 9,750,000 | 9,750 | 6,500 |
| Hosted, 19 EUR a month or 190 a year | 900,000 | 900 | 600 |
| Hosted Pro, 49 EUR a month or 490 a year | 2,350,000 | 2,350 | 1,566 |
| Hosted Max, 99 EUR a month or 990 a year | 5,000,000 | 5,000 | 3,333 |
Packs and plans open the same catalog, so the choice is volume and whether you want a subscription. A pack leaves out the daily Flash chat allowance, which matters only if you also chat. The complete table is on our pricing page; what hosted does and does not promise is on the cloud overview; driving the chat models from your own code is covered on the API page.
On a plan, the same EUR 15 pack gives 710,000 credits or more, because every pack uses your plan's rate.
The honest limits
- Renders are kept for seven days and then they are gone, so download what you want to keep. Trained characters on your own shelf are exempt.
- Catalog prices can change. Every figure here was checked on September 22, 2026, and the price the studio quotes before a run wins over this page.
- Failed jobs cost you. A run that comes back broken can still have spent its reservation, so the plan columns above are ceilings, not guarantees.
- The request leaves your machine. Accounts and billing are in the EU and we do not train on user data or sell it, but the render happens on a card that is not yours.
- Media jobs are rate limited to 30 requests per minute per account.
- The catalog is curated. You cannot upload your own checkpoint. Seven image models is the list.
- There is no free tier here. The free route is the local app, on your own hardware.
Online or on your own GPU
With enough VRAM none of this needs credits. The desktop app is AGPL-3.0, free, Windows and Linux, and nothing leaves your machine. The shortest path in is the easiest local AI image generator; for stills and clips from one install, the local image and video walkthrough covers both. On the text side a local abliterated build strips refusals no hosted catalog can strip for you, which is the subject of the abliterated models guide. What uncensored AI means, local and online covers the word itself on both sides.
There is no Mac build. On a Mac or a phone the browser studio is the only route, which is part of why the hosted side exists.
Compared with Venice and Sogni
Two names keep turning up in the same searches. This is what we could verify, on the dates given.
Venice.ai, read on September 22, 2026 on venice.ai/pricing: a free tier with 10 text prompts and 15 image prompts a day; Pro at 18 USD a month, with text prompts carrying no stated cap, 1,000 images a day on Venice models and 100 credits a month, where 100 credits are worth 1 USD; Pro Plus at 68 USD with 7,500 credits; Max at 200 USD with 22,500. Venice ships web, iOS and Android with no desktop app, and the company is based in Sheridan, Wyoming. The longer version is on our Venice page.
Sogni.ai, read on September 22, 2026, advertises more than 50 models for uncensored image work and plans from 20 USD a month with no stated cap, in the browser.
Where we differ: our uncensored image models are named in public with their credit price and per-plan ceiling, and the local app stays free and open source.
FAQ
Is it really uncensored?
Partly, and the honest answer is a setting rather than a promise. Hosted image models follow your account's content policy, which ships on Standard and refuses some prompts until you change it yourself. What no setting changes: material involving minors, and photographs of real people uploaded without consent.
Does it do NSFW?
Yes, on all seven hosted image models, once the account content policy is moved off its default. They run from 1,000 credits per image on Neta Lumina Uncensored, Z-Image Base and Nucleus to 2,500 on Wan 2.2 Realism. The setting covers images and video, not text.
Can I upload a photo of a real person?
Only with that person's consent. Photographs of real people uploaded without their consent are refused on every request at every setting, and reported. We cannot verify consent for you, so that responsibility is yours.
Do you keep my images?
Cloud renders are kept for seven days and then removed, so download anything you want to keep. Trained characters on your own shelf are exempt. We do not train on user data and we never sell it.
Is there a free tier?
No. The hosted service is paid. Credit packs start at 15 EUR for 450,000 credits with no subscription, and the Hosted plan is 19 EUR a month for 900,000 credits. The desktop app for Windows and Linux is free and open source, but it renders on your own card.
Can I use it on a Mac or phone?
Yes, in the browser at lu-labs.ai. The desktop app is Windows and Linux only, so on a Mac or a phone the browser studio is the whole product.
What is blocked everywhere?
Two things, at every content policy setting and on every model: material involving minors, and photographs of real, identifiable people uploaded without their consent. Both are refused and reported. The LU Labs Terms of Service apply on top of that.
What does one image cost?
Between 1,000 and 2,500 credits on the seven image models. A 15 EUR pack of 450,000 credits is 450 images at 1,000 credits, or 180 images at 2,500. The studio shows the exact price on the model chip before you press Start.
